Once confirmed, you can now follow the steps below.

Once done, make sure that the marketing preferences are set up correctly. See the sample screenshot below.
If you don't have permission, I'd recommend communicating with the Admin.
However, if you're an admin and still unable to change the email, I'd suggest communicating with our support. They have tools to investigate the root cause, and they have the availability to change it on your behalf.
