How do I tell Quickbooks to stop notifying me to file state tax forms in states where we no longer have employees and haven't had for more than 1 full calendar year?

QB has turned off Auto Payroll because we haven't filed unemployment forms in CO, IA and NE. We haven't had employees in any of these states for >1 fiscal year.

To turn off the notifications to file state tax forms, you may need to contact our Customer Care Team, as they have the tools to change the set up on your account in a safe and secure environment.

How do I tell Quickbooks to stop notifying me to file state tax forms in states where we no longer have employees and haven't had for more than 1 full calendar year?

Thanks.  I think I will eventually get the states removed where we no longer have employees.  It is a convoluted, time-consuming process involving multiple calls with Customer Care (where I thought I should just be able to check some boxes to make the changes) but we are making progress.  I have almost a full day invested to date, and we're not quite finished yet. smh. But your advice was solid. Thanks.
