Join nowlogged into my Intuit payroll and saw Intuit online Payroll is going away - I hit "lets do it" and just got another ad - so is it done? As usual - Intuit has done a half baked job......can't contact support because they are not open during my working hours at night....and the KB is garbage as well...So where is the step by step instructions? It is May 10th - I was waiting for them to move me on May 7th as they said, but again Intuit rarely keeps their word.... How do I set up employees for direct Deposit ahead of time if I have no idea when they are moving me? INTUIT SUPPORT come out of your holes and do something!!!!!
Hi there, pixidoc.
Thanks for visiting again the QuickBooks Community. I appreciate you for trying to contact our support agent to get this sorted out. I'll ensure to share information about Intuit Online Payroll and to make sure you're able to set up employees for Direct Deposit.
Last May 1, 2021, Intuit Online Payroll will be retiring and we'll move to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll Core. This is a more modern payroll plan with more features and better ongoing development support. All your data will be there but how you work with it will be a little different. To view further details, you can open this article: Move from Intuit Online Payroll to QuickBooks Online Payroll Core.
To continue using your payroll account, you have two options. First, subscribe to QBOP and manually re-enter the employees' data to your new account. Second, set up the Export Preference to automatically flow the data in IOP to QBOP. Thus, you don't need to re-enter your payroll data. You can click to this article to see the process: Setup export of IOP data to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Since payroll data still not ready after May 7, I suggest contacting them again. They have the tools to pull your account and investigate this migration. To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays, PST. See our support hours and types for more details about this one.
On the other hand, you can refer to this article to see detailed steps on how you can set up a direct deposit and pay your employees with electronic deposits directly into their bank accounts: Set up your company payroll for direct deposit.
I'm just one post away if you need a hand with running payroll reports or any QuickBooks Online related. I'll be here to ensure your success. You have a good one.
Contacting support is a great idea....too bad it is impossible. I went into my intuit payroll account and hit help then hit contact us which just takes me to the knowledge base and then clicked the product which just takes me back to the same page....there is no way to contact support...so if someone at intuit could fix ALL "CONTACT US" buttons so they lead DIRECTLY to a contact method instead of the KB that would help...but then we would be able to contact support which is not what Intuit support wants....they are hiding.
I know how it feels when something isn't working, pixidoc.
Let me make it up to you and ensure you're able to get in touch with our Live Support Team through chat or call.
To start, we can perform a few troubleshooting steps to fix this. Let's log in to your QBO using a private browser. There are times that piled-up data can cause unusual responses.
Here's how to use a private browser:
If it works, you need to return to your main browser and clear the cache. This helps refresh the system and you can work with a clean slate.
Once logged in, try to connect with our chat and phone support. Let me show you how:
Please let me know how these work. I want to make sure you're able to access QBO without issues. Take care and stay safe!
I tried your trick to search for "I need to talk to a human" and then "I still need to talk to a human" Nothing...
Why does intuit continuing to hide its phone support number? I really need to speak to some regarding my Intuit Online Payroll. I have over 20 clients on your system, but still can't get access to a human.
Why can't you just post a support phone number? Strongly considering leaving all of Intuit products.
Thank you for trying the steps given by my colleague, bolgianotax.
I understand that you wanted to get in touch with our Support team about your payroll. I'll share an easier way to connect to them.
The reason why we no longer post phone numbers is that we don’t want users to call and wait on the line when there's a high call volume. We replaced this with a callback request option. Though the request is still added to the queue, the user doesn't need to wait on the phone until someone picks up the call.
Here's an easier way to request a callback:
We also have direct links to connect with our Chat teams. Just check out the Contact Payroll Support article, choose the payroll you use, and click your payroll plan in the Chat with us online section.
If you also need references for payroll, just go to the QuickBooks Support page, scroll down, and click + More topics.
I'm just a comment away if you need anything else about QuickBooks. Take care and have a good one!
