Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm here to share some trouble shooting steps to update your WA paid leave rate in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Let's determine if it's not a browser-related problem causing the unusual behavior, we recommend the following steps by signing in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the problem persists, I'd suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team. I know you've called in before. However, I still suggest reaching out to our payroll support. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and help you with this one.
To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays, PST. See our support hours and types for more details about this one.

I'm having this issue, too, and switching browsers didn't fix it. I tried updating last quarter because our rate was incorrect then and didn't realize it didn't save (because it leaves the page and I didn't think I'd need to check it actually saved). Q4 employee deductions weren't sufficient because of this issue. And now I can't update for 2024. Since this seems to be a larger issue, can it get fixed without us calling payroll support?
Thanks for bringing this one to our attention, srquigley42.

I had two clients contact me so I checked another client's setup. Their rate was updated in January and their last payroll ran successfully. However, the rate has reverted back to the old rate and now they're in the same boat.
