Processed payroll but received by bank

I’m new accountant for 1 client. Last person processed the payroll. But employee hasn’t been paid. He is saying the PIN is invalid & client needs to get new etc. how do I verify what the issue is & resolution

I want to ensure you can process payroll successfully, @awan786.

 

The invalid error message usually happens when sending payroll or accessing the Payroll Tax Center.

 

To resolve this, I recommend checking that you have entered the correct pin. It must be 8-12 characters long and include at least one letter and one number. And special characters are not allowed. But if you've entered the incorrect pin multiple times, wait 15 minutes and reenter the correct pin.

 

However, if you lost or forgotten your pin, I suggest changing your pin. Once everything is working fine, create and run payroll

First how do I make sure what the issue is? I can’t trust the last accountant. Maybe pin is correct & he didn’t process the payroll correctly

If none of the steps worked that my colleague provided, then I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll be able to use a screen share tool to review the account with you to see why this is occurring. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Select the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Press the Contact Us button/hyperlink. 
  4. Enter your question and hit let's talk.
  5. Scroll down and pick to Get a callback
