FYI...You can't add a new EIN to your existing unlimited payroll subscription in 2020 with out calling them to have them do it. You used to be able to do it yourself and now they won't allow it. OH, and their phone systems are closing and they are pushing you to chat. The chat reps can't help and tell you to call!
I am really frustrated with QB! They used to be so user friendly and that has gone away!

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with our Customer Support Team. We know that it would be more convenient and can save you time to add a new EIN in your account without calling us.
However, for now, we need to contact them again to add EIN to your subscription since we no longer have this option in QuickBooks 2020. We want to ensure your account will not be exposed to the other users.

My complaint is that if I am paying as much as I am for an unlimited payroll subscription I shouldn't have to take the time to call your customer service, which according to your recorded message, won't be around much longer, to enter a new payroll client. I should be able to add them just as I have always been within the database.
I am voicing a complaint that I would hope goes back to your computer tech people the frustrations your customers are having for always relying on a "customer friendly" software to one that has been very very frustrating to the point that I am looking for another software to use.
And to just add another complaint, the fact that once you do an upgrade to 2018 or newer you have blocked the ability for accountants to have more than one database open at one time. Again, your "customer friendly" attitude has become a "corporate greed" attitude. Very disappointing!
