Your payroll data remains in your desktop company file regardless of how or even if you buy a payroll subscription. Payroll is incorporated inside QBDT and not an addon. Thus you can safely upgrade with your purchase from Best Buy. You will activate the new subscription and be able to access all of existing payroll.

Ive been trying to renew my QB Payroll Sub which is due but cannot open the edit button

to update my payment option. Credit card got hacked. Need to use Bank Account information. Can you please help me. Ive been trying to do this now for four or five days.

Please do not cancel my payroll membership. Im trying to get this resolved.

I can help you make sure that your payroll subscription is updated, @Betty.

There are two ways to reactivate your payroll subscription. Just make sure to use a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or a Discover credit card.

You can try updating your billing information in the Billing & Subscription page in CAMPS. Here's how to update your credit card information:

1. Go to this page: camps.intuit.com.
2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.
3. Click the Billing Information section.
4. Update your credit card information.
5. Click Save and close.

Also, you can also do this process inside your company file. Here's how:

1. Go to the Employees menu.
2. Select My Payroll Service, then Account/Billing Information.
3. You'll be routed to sign in to your Intuit Account.
4. On the Service Information section, click Reactive next to the service status.
5. Click Proceed to Checkout.
6. Select a Payment Method, then update your payment information
7. Once done, click Submit, then select Place Order.
8. Click Next, then Return to QuickBooks.
9. Check the Service Status by going back to the Account/Billing Information.

Can I renew my Subscription for Quickbooks desktop and payroll for 3 years or does it only renew for 1 year?

They can only allow subscription renewals annually. You can also renew it through a partner and get $100 cashback.

Currently, QuickBooks Desktop and Payroll subscriptions are renewed annually. That said, renewing your subscription for a 3-year term is unavailable.

Moreover, you can consider On Beta's suggestion, you may look for partnership website. They can be able to let you renew your subscription for long terms.

Furthermore, you can change your plan anytime by upgrading or downgrading your subscription.
