Currently, the option to pay your taxes early is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop.
The program sets a specific date in paying your taxes and we make sure that you'll not be late in paying it. If you really wish to pay your taxes now, you can do it manually outside QuickBooks and record it in the system.
I've included an article that will guide you in paying your federal and state taxes electronically.
If there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know. I'll be around to help you.
I checked creation of a PA W-3 efile form and the form loads and saves. When in the process are you having trouble? I actually never efile PA even though when you sign up for efile of Fed the PA is automatically enrolled (now it is available - used to be QB would not could not efile to our fair state) I have always submitted my own payments and forms directly at etides. You certainly had to do that with last year W-2 submission as QB only creates a download that may or may not work.
IN any even if you have an iussue that is PA related and not with QB good luck contacting anyone as the governor has shut down the entire state
From etides: The Department of Revenue’s customer service call center is currently closed as the commonwealth takes steps to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania. That means anyone trying to reach the department over the phone will not be able to reach a representative at this time.
As an alternative, the department is encouraging taxpayers to use its Online Customer Service Center, available at www.revenue-pa.custhelp.com. You can use this resource to electronically submit a question to a department representative. The department representative will be able to respond through a secure, electronic process that is similar to receiving an email. Additionally, the Online Customer Service Center includes thousands of answers to common tax-related questions.
We appreciate your patience during this time.
Due date for form is 4/30 and end date is 3/31. QB does allow creation of form, just not submission until 4/1
However at etides.state.pa.us the form can be completed and filed as long as you have completed all payroll for the quarter
