Error 3371 status code 11118

Hello there, @379248.

 

The error 3371 in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is usually caused by the following:

  • Component or file (QBregistration.dat or MSXML component) needed to run the program is damaged or missing.
  • Outdated Windows operating system or an anti-virus program.
  • Opening or importing the Web Connect (.QBO) file without saving it first. 

 

You'll have to run the 3371 Error Fix from the QuickBooks Tool Hub to resolve the issue and get back to business in no time. You can download and install the tool first if you haven't already. Let me guide you how.

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it. 
  4. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  6. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

 

After that, run the 3371 Error Fix tool. Here's how:

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Installation Issues.
  2. Select 3371 Error Fix.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
