Just to confirm, what is the exact error prompt when you link QuickBooks payments to my QuickBooks desktop account? This would be very helpful in checking the root cause of this error since there's no ongoing investigation about it yet.

 

 Meanwhile, let's first update your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the latest release before linking the payment. Here's an article you can read on for more details: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

This did not help I have attached the error message. Our 2019 QBDT has been fully updated, restarted and yet when I try to link it to payments, this is the message (attached)

I can't see any attachments in your reply. Would you mind typing the error message instead or inserting the screenshot in the body of your reply? You can do that by clicking on the Photos icon when replying to this post.
