Is anyone else not able to preview and print. I click on Preview and Print Checks and nothing happens.

Hi!  The Print button on QuickBooks online is not working. When I click print and preview and then click print instead of taking me to my printer box it opens a new tab on my browser. Please HELP!

I'm here to help you print checks in QuickBooks Online, @Dixielwn1.

 

Once you select the Print and preview and click Print it will open another tab for the Print sample. From there, click the print icon. See screenshot below.

After doing this, but the issue persists, this can be caused by some browsing issue. To fix this, Let's start by accessing your account using a private browser. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing some unusual responses. 

 

You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to prevent any unexpected behavior. Also, you can use other compatible browsers in QBO.

I'm here to ensure you're able to get the support you need to continue utilizing the features in  QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Dixielwn11.

 

When the troubleshooting steps provided above (accessing QuickBooks using Safari's private window) didn't fix or let your print your transaction, there's a need to further investigate the cause of this matter. Since you want one of our representatives to contact you, you'll have to request a callback from your account's Help menu. You'll first have to check out our support hours to ensure we can assist you on time. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select the Search tab.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter the details of your concern in the What can we help you with? box. 
  5. Click Let's talk
  6. Choose the Get a callback option.
  7. Enter your contact details. 
  8. Select Confirm my call

Is anyone else not able to preview and print. I click on Preview and Print Checks and nothing happens.

I have not been able to preview not only my checks, but statemetns as well. The only option I have to continue to be productive is to open the check or statement with a PDF. I can then print. It is slowing me down and I hope a solution will come soon.
