Let's try to rename the Qbprint.qbp file. Qbprint is a QuickBooks Desktop-created file. It contains a data line for each form in QuickBooks Desktop. It has a line for invoices and a separate line for journal entries, etc. Here's how:

It took a while to find the qbd file. Renaming it solved the problem.

I also tried your suggestion because I'm having the same problem. I can see that it created a new qbprint.qbp file, but I still can't print and my printer setup still doesn't show up.
I should mention that everything was fine until Windows 10 updated the other day. I have checked for updated drivers and done everything in the QB Tool Hub.
I'm using QB Desktop Pro 2017. Do you have any other ideas I could try?

If you're unable to reset the default printer, right click on the printer name and delete it.

I did all of these steps. My invoice printing wants to print onto my HP printer, but the size of Dymo LabelWriter I had. I have since uninstalled both the label maker and the HP printer, reinstalled the HP, and that did not work. I did these steps and it still doesn't work. I am going to try to uninstall QuickBooks Desktop. If that doesn't work I will run these steps again.
