QB Plus Annual Subscription Pro

When I installed the software, the instructions said to enter the key number as the license # (no problem) and the number [removed] for QB Pro and [removed] for QB Payroll when prompted.

 

The product purchased online from Costco is Desktop Pro Plus w/payroll 2021.

 

I am coming up on the end of my current subscription for Enhanced Payroll which I've been using for years but don't see anything to activate the new payroll.  When I installed the software, I may have chosen the first item number but I don't remember getting a prompt to enter the second one.  Perhaps I was supposed to just enter the 2nd number for Payroll?

 

Should I delete the program and reinstall it using the Payroll number only?  I've already made a backup.

QB Plus Annual Subscription Pro

Thanks for posting again here. Allow me to help you in activating your annual subscription.

 

It's great that you successfully installed the QuickBooks Desktop Pro. What you'll need to do next is enter the payroll service key to activate the payroll service. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Employees menu, select Payroll, choose Install Payroll from Box. 
  2. Complete the fields on the Payroll License and Product Information page. 
  3. Select Continue and complete the fields in the Payroll Company Legal Information section.
  4. Review the disclaimer in the Billing Information section, then enter the payment and contact information needed.
  5. Tap Continue. You'll be asked to log in to your Intuit Account.
  6. Click the Start Payroll button in the Confirmation.

 

If you are still unable to activate it, it's best to contact our Support Team so they can further assist you with it. Here's how:

  1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Activate Payroll", select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.
