  3. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions. In the tool hub, select Installation Issues.
  4. Select QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. Let the tool run; it can take up to 20 minutes.
  5. When the tool finishes, restart your computer.

Next, ensure your Windows operating system is updated, as this often prevents and fixes installation errors. Check out Windows Update FAQ for instructions on how to update your version of Windows from Microsoft, or seek help from Microsoft Support experts.

Ii was working im Quickbooks yesterday and took a.break for about 10 minutes snd when I came back, QB was closed. I have tried multiple times to open it and I get a nessage that I nrruf to run file doctor to fix some errors. But it never took me to file doctor to run the update. Then I had a message from QB asking what my issue was , which I replied and then put my email in and hit send. They said someone would contact me via email but I never received anything

  2. Download the latest version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub and save the file to a location that is easily accessible.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the installation and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When finished, double-click the Tool Hub icon on your desktop to open it.

 

Once you are in the QuickBooks Tool Hub, please run the Quick Fix my Program tool. Here's how:

 

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  2. Click on Quick Fix my Program.
