Join nowI am getting an Error of H202.
It is the second time this has happened. It seems like every Monday, the issue will accrue, Error H2020.
Does anyone know is this a QB issue, or is it my server that is messing with QB. Not sure if I need to go to our IT person or call QB to resolve this.

Good afternoon, @June181.
Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
To clarify, how many computers are affected by this error? Have you recently updated QuickBooks? Typically when we see error H202, its when we try switching from single user to multi-user mode. When this error occurs, this means something is blocking the connection to your server (host computer). There are several steps that we can take to resolve this:
It is best to have your IT professional perform the steps above. You can connect with our technical support team as well. They have the tools available to remote into your computer and investigate the issue securely. Please note: The technical support agent will need access to your host computer (The computer that contains the company file).
Follow the guided steps in How to fix error H202 and H505.
Let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. I'll be here every step of the way. You can reach out to the Community any time. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week!

Did your turn the host or server off during weekend and restart it on every Monday morning?
I do not turn the server off on the weekends.
Good morning,
The issue is still not resolved. And now my QB is running very slowly. When I want to review my checkbook181 a window pops up saying it's working.
Is there a number I can call or can you call me?

Intuit doesn't offer any number to call. Beware.
Let me chime in and add some information about fixing error H202.
As mentioned by brian33allen, you see Error H202 or H505 (or H101 and H103) when you try to switch to multi-user mode. These errors mean something is blocking the multi-user connection to your server.
To fix this, you can follow the steps provided above or use this article for detailed steps: How to fix Error H202 and H505. Make sure to follow the steps depending on how you host your company files.
Additionally, let me share this resource that you may find helpful in case you encounter network issues: What to do when a network issue error has occurred.
Keep me posted if you have other questions about managing and fixing errors in QuickBooks. I'm always around to help.
We have found that especially on a virtual server hosting the QuickBooks company file that after a reboot the H202 error seems to happen rather often (not all the time though). We resolve this by going into QB Database Manager and on the Port tab, then click on Refresh button next to the port which will assign a new port number, then wait until that finishes (db manager won't respond for a few minutes but will once it finishes updating the port). Then run the folder scan and the message should end with success...
This has allowed us to resolve the issue for our clients. We have not been able to find a permanent fix however as this seems to be QuickBooks and the server fighting over the port that Quickbooks is trying to use.
