I am currently using QBPro Desktop 2016 for 5 different companies, and need to upgrade to the new QBPro Plus 2024 before the September 30 expiration.
From what I have read, I will need to upgrade in steps. Can someone please list DETAILED steps, and links to the trial versions I will need to upgrade to in steps? I think I will need desktop 2019 and desktop 2022, unless I can go from 2019 to 2024 but not sure. I will be installing on a new laptop, so I will need to move 2016 over to new computer first. Any instructions on how to do that as well?
I am in this position because I am not very computer literate, and the possibility of losing company data makes me stop every time. If there is an option to hire an Intuit Advisor to walk me through it, please let me know. Otherwise, easy to understand steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Assuming everything is all set, we can directly migrate your company files to the upgraded 2024 version by securing backup company files of your QBDT 2016 and restoring them in your new QBDT 2024. I recommend running the Verify Data tool after this to verify all components work as expected.
