Hello,
I am trying to condense my data. I am having to rebuild my data but I am getting a 203 error when I do which is preventing the condensing of the data. I am getting the following error. Quickbooks Enterprise Version 22.
Error 203
Error Verify Master Invalid Template rcrd = 1224658 ref 19
Details List Template record name (deleted) Transaction txn #179961 on 01/01/2018 doc # E-1122 PO #2017
Can someone please tell me how to repair this so that I can condense my file?
Thanks,
Open the sample company file and try to condense it. If it works with the sample file, your company file may be corrupted. Chat Support and ask Data Service team to repair your file. If you need to repair the file in a short time, consider purchasing a third-party file repair service.
Hi there, edsmilk.
I'm here to ensure that you'll get past this error so you can condense your file successfully.
I agree with Fiat Lux - ASIA. We can open a sample company file. It will help us identify if the issue is within your company file or with QuickBooks itself.
Here's how:
Then, copy the company file to a different location. It can help us identify if the folder where the company file is saved is damaged.
Here's how:
If you're getting the same error, I'd recommend running the QuickBooks Tools Hub, then running the Quick Fix my Program.
In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about resolving possible data damage to your company file: Resolve Data Damage on your Company File.
You can get back to this thread after trying the steps. We'll be right here to help you.
Thanks for the suggestion. Ran a sample file and was able to perform a rebuild with no errors. I ran my file once sample worked and I still get the error. Thanks in advance.
I appreciate you getting back to us, edsmilk. Allow me to provide additional troubleshooting steps to resolve the error.
The error you're getting usually happens when one or more of the following non-posting transactions are damaged:

Hello,
I was updated to latest version but checked again and confirmed. Tried to rebuild and condense again and still get the same error.
I accessed the qbwinlog and can find the error using the search tool. Article tells me how to find the error but not what to do when I find it. Do I just delete this line or do I have to do something different? This the 1st of the 10 errors that all look like the same errors.
Losing access to our quickbooks file for 48 hours is not really an option as I have 15 people that use it daily.
checkpointverify.c (2390) : CHECKPOINT: 13524: Sat Sep 10 12:27:10 Error: Verify Master: Invalid template. Rcrd = 1224658. Ref = 19
If can't fix this route is there a third party solution that can fix it faster?
Appreciate the help
I was able to fix the problem. I found 10 invoices in 2018 that did not have an invoice template saved. I added a template to them and did a rebuild and all worked with 0 errors. Success!
Hi there, @edsmilk.
