Even i after turn off getting call for verification

Hello there, @hr35.

Let's try accessing your account on a private browser or an incognito browser. This way, we can isolate this concern for a possible browser-related. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

Once logged in, let's try disabling the two-step verification again. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Profile Icon
  2. Click the Manage your Intuit Account link.
  3. From the Intuit Account page, select the Sign In and Security menu.
  4. Scroll down to the Two-step verification section.
  5. Click the Turn off button.
  6. Enter your password.
  7. Hit the Turn off two-step verification button.

Once completed, log out from your QuickBooks account to make sure that all account components are updated. You can check this article to learn more about multifactor authentication in QuickBooks: What is two-step verification?

Turning off the two-step verification should get you rid of getting a call for verification, hr35.

I highly recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support Team so they can verify your account in a private setting and find out the reason why you're unable to get rid of this prompt.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Press the Help icon at the top to display the QB Assistant window.
  2. Then, select the Talk to a human menu and enter the issue/topic.
  3. Next, click on the I still need a human button, and then select the Contact us link.
  4. Choose to Message an agent for real-time assistance or Get a callback to speak with an expert.

Keep me posted on how it goes. I want to make sure your two-step verification concerns are taken care of.
