I’m afraid you have to open that account, drill down for the details and then delete every transaction one by one.  Then you can start fresh.

Greetings, gina-anunezlaw.

I'd love to join this discussion and provide additional insight regarding this matter.

Good news! If your account has been active for less than 60 days, then you can purge your company's data to delete the existing information. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Once you're in, change the URL to include /purgecompany.
    - For example, if your URL shows https://qbo.intuit.com/c28/app/homepage, then change it to https://qbo.intuit.com/c28/app/purgecompany.
  3. The next screen will provide a summary of the items to be deleted. Type the word yes if you want the data deleted, then select OK.
  4. Select Wipe Data once your selections are complete.

For additional insight about this, I recommend following this article: Deleting online data and starting over

That should do it. With these resources, I'm confident that you'll be able to restart in no time!

Keep me posted with the result, I want to make sure this is taken care of. Thanks for reaching out, wishing you and your business continued success.

Thank yo so much for the response, it is very helpful however, once I include /purgecompany, it takes me to a screen with the regular menu options but the main part, where the profit, expense and bank transactions would normally show, is all white with no options. What could cause this and what can be done?

Hello again, @Nunez. Thanks for providing a follow-up on this.

Normally when a user encounters unexpected behavior, such as pages not loading, it's recommended that they clear their browser's cache. Temporary internet files and cache are stored to speed up loading times, but too much data can accumulate and affect processes. For additional information on this, and the necessary steps, please see the following link: Delete or Disable Cache and Temporary Internet Files in Your Web Browser.

I've also gone ahead and included a brief video to serve as a visual example of the Purge feature:

I want to ensure that this is taken care of for you, so please feel free to let me know how it goes. Take care.
