Non-Admin Network Users Being Asked for Admin Permissions

We currently have the latest QB Enterprise Desktop version installed on a virtual terminal server which allows remote personnel to access their respective company file.  I am an "administrator" on the terminal server and and "admin" for all of our QB company files.

 

My issue is a chronic, idiopathic for my non-admin QB users and it has been around for probably the last 5 years.  I will have users email me that they cannot open their company file because QB Enterprise is asking for an "admin" password in order to continue.  Normally, all I need to do as an "admin" on our terminal server is to start the program and then exit.  Once I do this, the user can then access their file.  They enter their own userID and password and can open their file fine.  This does not occur all the time, but it happens often enough where I feel the question should be put out there for possible solutions.

 

We do not want to grant full administrator permissions to the server or the folder, obviously, but it is odd that all I need to is simply start the program (no even needing to open a company file) and it resets something in the background that then allows non-admin users to open their company files normally.

 

Any suggestions?

Thank you.  I just used the Database Server link and pointed it to where we have our files.  The scan results look like it repaired something, but I could not get a report.  I will pass this update along to my users and see if the problem persists before I call in tech support.  Much appreciated for the quick reply.
