Buy nowI am encountering an issue when printing the 1099-NEC forms for the 2022 tax year. There are 3 blank forms to 1 page. I printed out a sample page and it was aligned perfectly but when I went to print out all the 1099-NEC for all the vendors the 2nd and 3rd section of each page was not aligned. How can this be fixed?
Hi klccus1,
Thank you for reporting the alignment issue you've encountered when printing 1099 NEC forms. Let me help you out.
Since the first section of each page is aligned, we'll not do the fine-tuning alignment. Instead, you'll want to clear your cache files and then update your Adobe Reader. You may delete the cookie data as well, but this will log you out from websites and deletes the website preferences and settings, so consider it as a last resort.
You can always go back to this thread if you have more questions in mind.
It is now 2023 and possible to create the 2022 data needed for the 1099 forms. However, the print format is incorrect - the 3 forms cannot be lined up to correctly complete the required preprinted forms.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for joining the thread, PamUSVI.
Let me share some details to help you align and print your 1099 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Beforehand, can you tell us where you bought the pre-printed 1099 forms? One of the causes of the misaligned printed copies of the papers you're using is different from QuickBooks. You can get a compatible pre-printed kit from this link: https://www.intuitmarket.intuit.com/tax-forms/1099-forms.
On the other hand, please ensure to update your Adobe Reader to the latest release to fix most printing problems in QBO. Then, we can select the "No, it doesn't line up" button of the 1099 form to troubleshoot this issue. Here's how:
However, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team if the issue persists. They can take a closer look at this and check for more options on how we can sort this out.
