You might get this type of error when you’re not logged in as the Administrator when running QB WebConnector. Just right-click the .exe and choose run as Admin so you can run QB WebConnector seamlessly.

I have the same error despite being logged in as Administrator. I have tried more than one download link and get the same error every time. I updated to QB Pro 2021 but had the problem when I was still on QB 2020 as well.

Web Connector issues occur for several reasons. Its possible that the files you're using is damaged or missing QWCLOG.TXT file.
If your company file is connected to a third-party application through Web Connector, you can rename the QWCLOG.TXT to QWCLOGOLD.TXT. Please follow the detailed steps below:

Same problem. I keep getting this message first. You must have QuickBooks 2015 or greater.....
Then next error Interrupted before QBWebConnector error.
I have 2021 and have tried everything above. Still same error as above.

I have the same problem, web connector says I need 2015 version or higher, I habe Premier 2022

When you install QuickBooks Desktops, it installs a QuickBooks Web Connector too. Since you have the latest version, you can check out this link to download a different version of QuickBooks Web Connector: Set up QuickBooks Web Connector.
Additionally, ensure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release.

Last May 9, 2022 I called the help of QuickBooks support to upgrade my software from 2021 to 2022. Yesterday I need to sync QuickBooks 2022 to my third party software to generate the invoice, unfortunately it is not working. I have called QuickBooks tech support yesterday and today, they told me there is something wrong with the web connector and apparently this is an on going issue. QB tech support tried to do a work around by installing again my 2021 version (it was uninstalled last May 9 when 2022 was installed) and tried to do the Update Web Services and still it is not working. May I ask if there is already an update on this issue? Thank you.

I checked Investigation 63814 with the use of my tools and its status is still in progress. Right now, our engineers are still conducting a complex investigation. I tried my luck today 5/12/22, I called Quickbooks support again. My issue was, I cannot sync my invoices (from third party software) to Quickbooks (QB) and I was told that QB Web Connector is not working. I encountered this issue when I upgraded from QB 2021 to 2022 last 5/09/22. Cort Spencer from your tech support helped me today. He did a clean install, deleted all of the files related to Intuit and install again QB 2022 version. After that, I was able to use the Update Web Services feature of my 2022 QB and I was able to sync my third party software to QB. He really knows what he is doing. I have been calling QB since Tuesday to ask for help.
