Hello Biller,
Are you trying to install the QuickBooks Database Server Manager? In QuickBooks, you are required to access QBDBMgrN to have QuickBooks Access with others or want to log into multiple accounts. You might not want to delete these files since help you monitor your multi-user network. When you set up a network, you need to have QuickBooks Database Server Manager running so users can access your company files.
If you want to access your license, you can follow these steps:

Hi Catherine_B,
No - just curious why it's in a foreign language. I've been getting hit hard with attacks on my PCs, logins, etc. from foreign lands. Just trying to protect my data.
I'm a single user, but have QB loaded on a few different computers.
I can shed a light on that, Biller.
These types of files are commonly used with shareware programs and networks. Typically, it contains the registration information of your QuickBooks Desktop as well as server configuration information for networks.
By default, these files shouldn't be in a foreign language. It's possible that they've become corrupted since you've loaded the software on different computers.
To fix this, you can run the Quick Fix my File and QuickBooks File Doctor utilities. First, download and install the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of QuickBooks Tool Hub. Then, open the executable file (QuickBooksToolHub.exe) and follow the on-screen steps to install the program.
Once done, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub. For the best experience, we recommend using it on Windows 10, 64-bit. When you're ready, follow these steps to run the Quick Fix my File utility:
Once done, check your license files again. If the issue persists, you'll have to use the Run QuickBooks File Doctor function. Here's how:
After that process, open the files again. Please take note that your issue may have been resolved even if the scan says it was unsuccessful. However, if it didn't make any difference, you may delete the LIC files to get rid of them. Then, reenter your license information in QuickBooks.
Additionally, I've included an article that will help you resolve common registration and sync issues in the program: Fix license, validation, and registration errors.
Feel welcome to reach out to me again with any questions you may have. I'll be more than happy to help.
Hello Biller!
I have some additional steps we can perform to fix this issue.
First, let's manually delete the Entitlement file. This is the file that tells QuickBooks your product is valid and registered.
If the same thing happens, it's best to do a clean install to fix file issues.
Additionally, if you just want to get the product and license details, we can get it within your QuickBooks Desktop. Check the detailed steps here: Find QuickBooks Desktop product and license info.
If this issue persists, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team for further checking:
