How many user license do you need? Do you also need to run payroll?

I need 10 users I will not need payroll because I will be using it in Nigeria

If you are not located in the US or Canada, you can purchase the new license from a reputable partner. You may have 2 options:

1. QB Desktop 2024 (Premier) Accountant Plus for 10 users

2. QB Desktop 2024 Enterprise Silver for 10 users

If you are a new user looking to subscribe to QBDT Pro 2024, please note that Intuit will stop selling new subscriptions to US subscribers after September 30, 2024.

I am a small accounting firm with just me. I am using Quick Books 2022 but had to pay a hefty price of $1541.40 for payroll services from Quick Books. This is unacceptable for me. I would need Quick Books with payroll with two additional users. Can they work on Quick Books on their computers with my license? What is a lifetime Quick Books? I do not understand why Quick Books that was so reasonable for the small firms has gotten out of reach. Why do I have to pay a monthly subscription every month or one large price that would bankrupt me. I have used Quick Books since 1995. What happens at the end of the 2022 updates, can I still use Quick Books and just go online with the IRS for preparing the 941 quarterly and the 940 annually? The small firms are the backbone of this business. We got you where you are. Quit being so money hungry!!!! I will never use Quick Books online.

Only scammers offer QB Desktop 2024 with non subscription licenses. If you don't need to run any add-ons (e.g QB Payroll, QB Payment), you should contact Fiat Lux to use QB Desktop with a non subscription license.

Intuit will release a new version of QuickBooks Desktop every year with the latest updates and features. The one-time license or non-subscription software has a three-year life cycle. If you purchase a one-time license of QuickBooks Desktop 2022, you are advised to upgrade by 2024. Also, you can continue using it if your computer's operating system is still compatible with the old QuickBooks Desktop. 

However, some features will be stopped such as payroll and online banking. Once you reach the three-year life cycle, there will be no more system updates or support for any issues you might encounter. About the subscription-based QuickBooks Desktop, you'll need to renew your subscription yearly. We can also upgrade to a newer version without additional cost. You won't be able to use the software at all if you do not renew the subscription. Your company file will remain on your computer, but you must re-activate the service to open or view the data.

On the other hand, you'll get a message when you open QuickBooks to upgrade to the new version. Just click Upgrade Now and follow the rest of the steps. If you don’t see a prompt to upgrade, don’t worry. It means you made a one-time purchase of QuickBooks. Here’s how:

1. Go to Help, and then Upgrade QuickBooks.
2. Select the version you want to upgrade to, then tap Upgrade Now.
3. You can keep a copy of your current version of QuickBooks. Click Keep old version on my computer, then select Let’s Go.

I contacted sales on 9/9/24 and was told to keep a subscription for pro plus 2025 is $949.00. That is not including payroll. I have been a user since 2001 and this is my last year. The greed of this company is out of control. I have found 3 free bookkeeping programs [payroll additional] that work for my small business. I hope more people follow and maybe they will lower pricing.

You can use the trial version to access your historical data for good. Then you may start from scratch in the new program to lower your conversion costs.

I just bought this in August and still can't find out want the annual recurring charge is going to be for 2 users.

I paid $1,312 first annual 2024 Premier desktop for 2 users.
