it does not print the entire description how can I get it to do this

I replicated your concern and I was able to print a check with the entire description.
You can perform browser troubleshooting steps as this concern could be a browser-related issue. First, let's try accessing your QBO account via an incognito/private window. The browser's cache may be full, and using a private browser can help us determine if this is the cause of the issue.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:
If you're able to print using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.
