Delete duplicate Intuit account

When I log into Intuit (ending up on page https://camps.intuit.com/app/selfservice/index.html#userprofile) I find that I have TWO accounts with IDENTICAL names under the heading "QUICKBOOKS DESKTOP ACCOUNTS".

One is for Quickbooks-2011 edition and the other has my current edition of DesktopPro.

-

HOW do I delete the 2011 one so that I have only one account when I log in.

Thanks for sharing what you'd like to achieve, @prestigeus.

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to delete the 2011 version of Desktop Pro. One of our representatives can securely verify your account and help you remove the old version.

You can have the full contact information by going to the Help menu of the desktop company file. Then, you'll get real-time assistance via the Start a Message option.

You may follow these steps:

  1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question window, scroll down to click the Contact us link.
  3. This will display the Contact Us screen.
  4. Go to the Tell us more about your question section to enter the issue or topic in the field box.
  5. Click Search to display the Start a Message button.

To ensure that you'll be assisted on time, please check out our support hours.

For details in canceling subscriptions, you may want to consider checking out our QuickBooks cancellation policies.

Additionally, you can always visit our Help articles page for reference. There, you can read some of the helpful articles that will guide you in completing your future tasks.

I'll be right here if you need help in managing QuickBooks.

Delete duplicate Intuit account

I have two customer accounts for the same business. One account shows all the products purchased and has payment information that can be edited. the other account shows no products, no payment methods. I would like to delete this account

Second problem is that when I log on, this second account does not appear. It only appears when I log on as the business owner, and he does not have editing rights on this account. I cannot get our roles switched because II cannot access the account.

Delete duplicate Intuit account

Hello there, Cuyama.

You can change the access rights of the account that doesn't have any information and then transfer the role to only have one sign-in. You can log in to the account to which you can manage your user access.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage Users.
  2. Look for the user and click Edit.
  3. Select the user type and permissions.
  4. Click Next and follow the onscreen instructions.

For more details, see the sign in to multiple QuickBooks Online companies with one user ID link.

Let me know if you have other questions. Take care!
