I am having an issue with the desktop app running extremely slow over the past two weeks. Prior to this time it was very efficient. Now if I change company from the dropdown list, it takes 2-3 minutes to complete the change. In addition, I have to refresh or the company data does not change. Any suggestions?

Having similar issues. The option to install the App does not appear in my Settings menu like these instructions say. I got support to send me a link to download the exe, but it gives me errors saying servers are down and to try again. What the heck is going on?! I got payroll I need to do.
I tried both options and neither improved the functionality. It is very frustrating just sitting around waiting for data to load. Not sure where to go from here

what if your HELP menu doesn't have a "reset app" selection?
QB desktop 2024 version V23.1 started running extremely slow about a week ago. Like watching paint dry. Online comments say to use Help menu to "reset app" but that choice is not available. Anyone have a solve? It's unusable in this condition.
