Quickbooks Consumers have been sabotaged by parasitic lack of support and overpriced service. Never in my life have I seen a company under Intuit waste their consumers' time with wait time, rabbit holes, and an absolute failure to provide technical support for glitches that cost companies and people more money than the outrageous doubling of cost Quickbooks is curretnly charging itself right out of the market. I will be switching to Apple Pay and Spreadsheets. Without exaggeration, I could hire an accountant that carves my accounting and invoicing into stone tablets cheaper and more effectively than this pile of captured capitalist regurgitation Intuit has lobbied itself into. I can't even change my business name without wasting weeks of valuable time. If Intuit would spend half its lobby money on fixing these issues and providing professional support instead of lobbying Congress to make our taxes and invoicing more complicated for their own profit they might have continued to maintain a decent reputation. Instead, they have left themselves vulnerable to any half witted competent yet functional organization to burn the ticks out of the industry. Goodbye Slowbooks.

is the way an LLC is set up in QBO different than the way you would set up another company?
Thanks for joining the conversation, Laura. Let me share my insights about setting up a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Setting up the company type is the same as setting it up in other company files in QBO. To do that:
In QBO, we can have multiple companies under a single account. Each company has its separate paid subscription, but we can access them using the same Intuit login credentials. Doing so allows us to quickly switch between companies so we can manage their information more conveniently.
Feel free to leave a reply below if you have clarifications about setting up a company type. The Community is always open to entertaining your questions. Keep safe, and have a great day.
I want to submit my 1099's on Stripe, but record it in quickbooks - can I do that?!
Hi, @WeeSitt.
I'd be delighted to assist you in ensuring you can achieve your goal.
I appreciate your interest in recording your 1099s in QuickBooks Online. However, this process isn't possible. As a workaround, you can keep a copy of your submitted 1099s and manually attach them to the vendor's profile. Here's how:

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @M Bilal.
I appreciate you providing screenshots about your concern. Let me assist in resolving this opening balance issue. I'd like to give some information and point you in the right direction.
To fix this, double-check the opening balance for the account you're reconciling and make sure your opening balance is correct before checking your beginning balance.
We can fix the beginning balance issues by double-checking that the opening balance is accurate. Here's a list of things on what to do:
If the balances match, you entered the opening balance correctly. Move on to Step 3. If the opening balance in QuickBooks doesn't match your bank records, correct it:

I am unable to log in to quickbooks time.
I started using QuickBooks last year in April 2022. In July this year 2023, I am expected to pay my next tax bill. My problem is that as I now use QB, the figure that they are calculating my tax for the year 2022/23 obviously does not take into consideration the figure that I am due to pay in July 2023 when I filed my self-assessment in the previous tax year. So, I am worried that I will pay double. Can someone help?
Hello, @Pepe10.
I'm here to share information on how QuickBooks calculates your estimated taxes.
In QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE), there are two ways on calculating taxes it's either automatic or manual calculations.
Just make sure to categorize your transactions correctly so you'll have accurate estimated taxes. Also, you can review the information entered in your Tax Profile settings. You can refer to this article for more insights: How QuickBooks Self-Employed calculates tax payments.
Regarding your question, I recommend consulting your accountant on how to handle total sales and income. This will help make sure reports are accurate.
Also, you'll want to process a late payment by following the steps from the IRS website. Check this link to know more: IRS Guidelines.

Before that, I'd like to ask if you're using QuickBooks Online. If yes, we can run the Customer Contact List and Sales by Customer Details report. These reports can be filtered by customer type.

To filter the report properly, click the Customize button in the upper-right corner. In the Filter section, tick the Customer Type box and select your preferred type of customer. Here's a sample screenshot for reference:

Take note that a check bounces when your bank account has non-sufficient funds (NSF) or doesn’t have enough money to cover the check amount. When this happens, your bank charges you an NSF or bank fee.

I go to open my products and services to edit one of them. And they aren't there. I've tried restarting QBO and my computer, I can't get my products and services back.
I can share some information about missing products and services in QuickBooks Online (QBO), LRhoades.
As per checking, we have a recent incident involving missing products and services in QBO. Our engineers have successfully identified the root cause of this problem and have marked it as resolved.
Let's rule out a possible browser cache issue to isolate this. I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
Once logged in, try to check the product and services. If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Doing so will remove the historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser.
Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you manage your products and services in QuickBooks Online.
Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in adding your items. I'm determined to get this resolved. Take care.
