Estimate Template

Morning! When we provide an estimate we require a 50% deposit on that estimate to start the job. Is there a way to insert a field to reflect 50% of the total? I know its obvious to the customer because I have written the wording on the template but I would like to show the actual amount if possible because people still call and ask!

Thanks

Estimate Template

Welcome to the Community, @MO78.

Currently, the option to add the total deposit field on the estimate template is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). In the meantime, you can continue entering the words in the template as a workaround.

I can see how this option would be helpful for you, and I'll take note of this. Our Product Engineers are always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QuickBooks.

I also recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features. Here's the link: https://www.firmofthefuture.com/product-industry-news/product-updates/.
