One of the advantages when using QuickBooks Checking is that this is designed for small businesses and lets users open a bank account or even get fast payments with no monthly minimum requirements. The beautiful thing is this is powered by QuickBooks for seamless accounting and is free.

 

Normally, when you experience an error when processing a payment or fund transfer, it could be a browser-related issue. We can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the problem. Use the  shortcut keys below  to access a private window (incognito): 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

When using incognito mode, this deletes cookies and browser history leaving your browser clean and easy to access any websites and error-free.

 

Once done, double-check if you can already use QuickBooks Checking. If it works, then go back to the main browser to clear its cache and delete some outdated files that might be the cause of the error. Otherwise, use a supported, up-to-date browser.

 

However, if the issue persists, contact our Payments Support to help you check what's causing this to happen and help you fix it. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and will have a chance to have one-to-one interactions with one of our representatives

None of those worked. I get this message. 

"Hmm... something isn’t working While we’re working to fix things on the back end—some account features may be unavailable."

And everything attached to my QBO checking account and debit card is being declined and its not working. Alot of things have been stuck pending for almost a week now.

Since the issue persists, I suggest contacting the Green Dot support team. They have the tools to review your account and check on their end why your checking account and debit card are being declined and not working.

I finally got through to green dot support team but I was disconnected from the call only a minute in and will have to call back again tomorrow as it took a long time to finally get connected to the green dot support team.

Hello, were you able to get this resolved? I am having the same issues and I can’t seem to buy anything online that requires me to use my address as it keeps declining. I’ve had charges pending since the beginning of the month. I’m having to use my personal account to pay for my business transactions. I plan to reach out to CS today.

Currently, we have an ongoing investigation into this QuickBooks Checking issue. This means that other users are experiencing the same concern as well. Rest assured, our product engineers are already working on it and doing their best to find a fix. With this, I recommend contacting our Support Team to get added to the list of affected users. Whats the deal with this!!?? Im having the issue as well. I though this QB checking would make things easier but its a nightmare and the support teams are outsourced and useless. Its like being thrown into a tornado where you just spin in circles and waste hours on end

Yes, it IS an utter nightmare. I haven't been able to see activity in my QB checking for two days. I pray I haven't had any fraudulent transactions. Calling Green Dot is a joke. Hold, disconnected. Hold, disconnected. This is stressful.

I can’t access QuickBooks checking at all. It says “something isn’t working. We need to fix some things at our end. Try again later.” This has been all day long

Yep, over 2 hours on hold only to be passed around to people that couldn’t help. Needless to say I will be canceling QB asap.

Been almost a week an I still can't access my money or use my debit card. I've seen a bank have an outage for maybe a few hours but days this is ridiculous.

Ohh please believe I'm call over an over til this gets fixed. Even being on hikd for over an hour just to get no kinda useful or real information about what's going on. Yea once this gets fixed they can have all this account back cause I'm pulling all my money out an going elsewhere. Again I've had accounts that's had a issue that's lasted a few hours. This mess been going on 5 days straight! People's money is being held hostage whne it's needed for bills an to keep businesses rolling. If yall can't have issues fixed in a timely manner then yall in the wrong kinda work. I understand stuff happens but to be down days not minutes is totally unacceptable. It's like burger king running outta burgers.

It has not been resolved and it has been going on for 3 weeks now. I called the other day and green dot support team basically said they are aware of the issue and are working to fix it. The only other information they gave was there an issue with their June update and told me the only thing i can do is wait until they fix it.

Wow well you got more info than I did. All I got was they have a issue an it'll be fixed soon but I have no been able to use my money in my account for a week now. Like I said before I've had a bank go down for a few hours but never days to a week like this.

My card is still down, I've not received any information from Quickbooks over the last 2 weeks regarding this. Quickbooks, you should do what's right and issue new cards, and show better customer support by reaching out with updates like you said you would.

I understand your interest in getting updates and further resolving this case, @FrassatiDesigns.

 

With the current update, our Engineers are in the process of prioritizing/investigating this issue. Although this is being worked on actively, we don't have an ETA for the resolution yet. In addition, we can't issue a new card since the hurdle is still in progress.

 

Furthermore, I also suggest checking your emails from time to time to see if there are any updates.

This has been going on for years not since June look it up

on google there’s are many complaints since 2021 mine just started doing this 2 days ago and like everything said here the phone service tells you nothing just there’s an issue and they can’t even notify us when it is fixed. We have to guess or keep getting embarrassed with declines. I swear to god I will Sue this bank very soon for interest rates of using my credit cards and any late fees I acquire from auto payments not going through.

Been going on for over a month. Absolutely no help after 8 plus phones calls and countless hours. I've basically had reps from both Quickbooks and Greendot hang up on me because they can't stay on the phone any longer and can't escalate my call to anyone else. Greendot support is useless. They state it's a known issue.. I've once been successfully transferred to their corporate office on one of my initial calls - and felt somewhat satisfied with the communication, but they said I was going to get a follow up in a few days and never did. Every other time I've been transferred to GreenDot call center, and then requested transfer to corportate, they've messed up the transfer.. this happened 3 times in a row yesterday. It's time QB partners with a new bank.

BEWARE! Do not let the ease of having all of your banking under the QB umbrella tempt you. For some reason, my debit card just stopped working for certain purchases and certain subscriptions. It seemed like my account was flagged - BUT I spent hours with Green Dot's HORRIBLE overseas customer support and they couldn't get it resolved. I couldn't be transferred to a supervisor. I was sent an email from their tech department saying there was nothing wrong with my card. When there obviously still was. And upon more research this is an issue that's happened before and there's a lot of documented unhappy Green Dot customers online. I honestly just trusted the QB and Intuit name and brand and figured they'd partner with someone reputable. I was mistaken. Also, it takes a full WEEK to pay contractors from my account which is insane. I've closed the account and am going back to a real bank. What a hassle.
