Join nowPlanned purchase of new Mac will include Quickbooks for Mac Desktop and want to know how mobile iPad and iPhone apps for scanning to pdf and or photo capturing expense receipts, invoice or other records are integrated with the Mac Desktop Version.
I will provide you what I know about QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, FlyingBoat.
When you purchase the software, we have available third-party apps that seamlessly sync with our system. You can check apps that will help you scan and automatically enter the receipts and invoices details in our system. You can always visit our website: https://desktop.apps.com/home.
Though, if you want to use your iPad and iPhone for scanning and capturing transactions, you'll still have to download it to your desktop before you can attach it to the transactions in QuickBooks.
We're here if you have further questions. Have a good one!
Are there limits to how many receipts you can capture each month?
Hello there, TennisDynamics.
Thanks for visiting us here in the Community. I'd be happy to answer your post.
QuickBooks integrates with hundreds of third-party software developers. With this being said, the number of receipts that you can capture depends on the application that you're using. To verify and confirm your concern, I'd recommend contacting the third-party app. Since each app has its limitations.
If you have follow up questions concerning your account, please keep me posted. I am more than happy to further help.
You will import the images through the attachment feature built into QB Mac. You will find few if any 3rd party apps that integrate directly with QB Mac
