The subscription is annual when you purchase any of the QuickBooks Desktop 2022 versions. This requires you to pay your QBDT on a yearly basis. Then, you may choose between paying monthly or annually for your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription.

Once you already subscribed, you can view your subscription details (type, renewal date, and price) and update your billing information in the CAMPS section. On the other hand, there's a dedicated team that handles any discount and price concerns in subscribing to QBDT. You may go to the Take to Sales option on Choose your QuickBooks Desktop product page.

Please advise about Enterprise version too

What my colleague @ChristieAnn said also applies to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. All versions of QuickBooks Desktop, pro plus 2022, and premier plus 2022 will require you to pay every year. Then, you may choose between paying monthly or annually for your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription.

When you upgrade from an older version of QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the latest one, you'll first have to create a backup of your file. Then, make sure your computer meets the system requirements. It ensures that the software is compatible with your new computer to get the best experience with QuickBooks.
