Statement template editing

I have tried editing my statement template and when I click on the edit icon, the statement line disappears. I spent an hour with the online help chat and the final response was “you just need to print it out and edit it yourself”. That is unacceptable! Is anyone else having this problem? I went to the gear icon, then accounts and settings, then sales, then statements, then when I click on edit it disappears.  I tried 4 different browsers, on the help chat’s advice and that didn’t work either.

I can assist with your template concern, Sconner1.

Currently, we're investigating the issue with expanding statement settings in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please be assured that our engineers are working diligently to resolve this problem.

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team so that you'll be added to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive email updates on the investigation's status and be notified once it's been resolved. To expedite the transaction, provide this investigation number INV-97100.

Here's how.

  1. Go to the (?) Help icon.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Tap Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose to Get a callback.

Additionally, I've added this link about customizing your sales forms: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Furthermore, check this article about sending summaries to your customers for their outstanding balances: Create and send customer statements.
