You came into the right place for support, kevin46.
This behavior when trying to print a W3 form is often caused by a browser issue. It is normal for web-based platforms like QuickBooks Online (QBO) to gather cache files for faster browsing. However, too much of this can cause such an error. I've got a couple of steps to help get this working.
Let's start by using a private browser. This doesn't store data in the cache, reason why it's the best place to isolate browser issues.
Then, try clicking the View button again and print. You can refer to the steps below:
Learn more about printing W-2 forms in QBO through this article: Print your W-2 forms.
If it works, please clear the cache on your browser to delete some outdated files. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browsers to be thorough.
In case you need a reference when filing W-2's, here's an article made handy for you: File your W-2 forms.

When I go to View on W3 form it tell me:
Duplicate copy for your records only!! - I can't seem to print the original. I talked to support twice and both time they gave me a date when it would be available and it still isn't. What is going on??
Hi there, CSRay.
As of now, we're unable to provide specific dates when these forms will be ready in QBO. But normally, these will be available at the end of the year of January 2023.
