"the selected form cannot be resized for letterhead"

Hi there,
I Recently had to update my drivers on my computer for my printer and now I get this error message stating "the selected form cannot be resized for letterhead because it has been edited" this did not happen before the driver change, and it still prints perfectly fine  when I click ok to print anyways but it is a constant annoyance when printing off invoices. I have tried running printer setup and the PDF and Print repair tool but neither one fixed the problem

To begin with, please ensure that you have updated QuickBooks to the latest release and there are no error messages or warning lights on your printer. After that, we can print from another program to check if the problem persists by following the given steps:

 

  1. Select Start and browse to Notepad.
  2. Input some text and go to File, then select Print.
  3. Choose the correct printer and click Print.

 

Additionally, you can test your company file by printing a different form or a standard form/report if you're using customized forms or memorized reports. If these are a batch of forms in QuickBooks, print a single one. If successful, try to print smaller batches. Moreover, you can use another QuickBooks sample company file to print the same type of form or report. If it works, fix the data damage on your company file.

renaming the QBprint.qbp file did work but now my invoices are printing on the wrong side of my letterhead, its only invoices and nothing else on my computer, is there an easy fix for this that im not seeing

Generally, alignment and print issues are caused by damaged components of the program. You can install QuickBooks Tool Hub and run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool utility. This program is a collection of tools that can help resolve printing and emailing errors while working in QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install, then agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. Once installation is complete, double-click the desktop icon to open the tool hub.

 

After that, follow these steps to use the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool:

 

  1. In the tool hub, select Program Problems.
  2. Select QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.
  3. It will take about a minute to run. Once the process is completed, click OK.
  4. Open QuickBooks, then print the invoice again.
