We're aware of the error you're receiving when adding a new employee, drrevell-pawprin.
I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Live Team so they can set up the new employee for you. They'll also gather some information for verification.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Go to Help (?).
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
- Choose a way to connect with us:
- Start a chat with a support expert.
- Get a callback from the next available expert.
Once all set, you start creating paychecks and send it to your employees.
Please know that you have two options on how to add your new employee in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
- Set up some info then invite your employee to add the rest.
- Set up and add all employee info.
