Which is the Best Computer for Quickbooks

Which is the best computer for quickbooks? I am starting a new business, and planning to get a new laptop or desktop computer. I read some good reviews on websites and I like the DELL XPS 13. What do you guys think? Is there any other good option?

Congratulations on your new business, @wahabtawab400.

There are a lot of good options for laptops or desktop computers you can use to get the best QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) experience. The DELL XPS 13 is also a good choice of computer hardware. However, it'll be up to you to decide which is the best one to use.

You just need to make sure the laptop or desktop computer meets the minimum system requirements for the QBDT program. This will ensure the system is compatible with your setup and help avoid any possible issues when installing and using it in the future.

Depending on the version of the QBDT program you want to install on your computer, you can refer to these articles about the operating system, hardware, software, and other requirements to run QBDT:

Dell XPS 13 is one of the best options. Some of our team members have been using Acer Swift 3 since last month to run multi QB Desktop versions without any issue.

Good point in the Mac. I too have a Mac and am struggling with the Mac version. Do you use a hosted Windows for QB? If so what hosting do you use for it? I am thinking I need to go to a Premier version and can’t do that with a Mac.

If you owned a Mac and prefer using QBD Windows, you may have 3 options:

1. Utilize the Parallels. You will need to have a Windows OS license.

2. Deploy a private cloud. You may prepare a Windows machine on your premise and your Mac will access it by internet connection

3.  Put your QBD license and data file(s) on an authorized QB cloud hosting.

I'm here to share info aside from the shared details by our Community expert, Lauriane.

There are QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) versions that work with Windows. We have Pro, Premiere, and Enterprise. As for Mac, we also have software that is compatible with the program. In order to run the best QBDT experience, you'll have to meet the minimum system requirements.

I encourage checking out these articles to know the system requirements before downloading and installing the software:

Additionally, in case you'd like to share your QuickBooks Desktop for Windows data with multiple team members, you can set up a multi-user network so they'll be able to access them.

I've also included these articles that'll guide you in using QuickBooks as your business partner:

There are dozens of laptops available on internet which can be suitable for quickbooks. But if you have limited budget below 700$ Acer Aspire 5 will be the best option according to your budget.

Also i found the website who have reviewed the laptops which is good for quickbooks.
