If your payroll subscription is cancelled, you won't be able to run payroll, record tax payments, and generate tax forms. I can walk you through activating it once again for the year-end filing.

You'll need an active payroll subscription if you want to run payroll, record tax payments, or make any changes.
If you cancel your QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription, you have access to data for reporting purposes for 6 months. It's also advisable to export and save copies of your reports.
