Join nowWe have QuickBooks Desktop and are wanting to process a sales receipt and process a payment using a credit card terminal. How do we get a terminal and how to use/setup with desktop sales receipt. We would like to use the swiped rate on a credit card sale not keyed.

We do have quickbooks payment account. We want to hook a card reader directly to our computer desktop to process a swiped card. We are looking at the below see our attachment. This clearly states it should work exactly like we are wanting through a sales receipt within Desktop Quickbooks software. Please advise.

You chose the correct card reader that works with QuickBooks Desktop 2021 or newer with a micro-USB cable. It accepts EMV chip cards, and debit and credit cards with magstripe.
Please link your Payments account to QuickBooks Desktop first. Once done, connect the card reader using the micro-USB cable included. To learn more about how it works, scroll down on this website for the contact number of our Sales Team.

If you are a new user and this is the first time you order, you can get it from the GoPayment app and use the Merchant Service Center. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:
