Join nowIt looks like QB (QB 2022 Desktop) is FINALLY adding a nice form to send over for ACH/online bill pay remittance. YAY!
I haven't even turned online bill pay on yet. Im just kind of cruising around. Still looks to be in the initial stages though because I can't do anything to edit the template yet.
I think this was avail through QB online already so maybe someone can help me out.
I've been putting off paying our customers via ACH because the remittance workaround was super annoying. Being able to just get on of these online payment forms to show payment could be a gamechanger. In the payment method there is the schedule online payment option. Does it force you to go through quickbooks online payment or can I still just pay through my bank? We have a lot through our bank and online bill pay (sending ACH's) is basically free so I would love to utilize that. I'll go through quickbooks if I have to, but it would be great to use something that's available to me for cheap.
Thanks!

I literally just want an EASY way to send ACH remittance. Thats all I am asking for.
I am having the same issue. We make more than 1,000 ACHs payments every month and we are looking for an easy way to do it.
Hello there, Martino3.
Let me share what I know about online payment options in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
If you don't have QuickBooks Payments, you can sign up for an account to be able to send invoices online and process customer payments online through credit card or ACH bank transfer.
If you already have a QuickBooks Payments account, you can check out this article and connect your existing account to QuickBooks Desktop: Connect your QuickBooks Payments account to QuickBooks Desktop.
Once you've successfully connected your your QuickBooks Payments account to QBDT, you may now turn on payment options to all of your customers or for a specific customer.
To turn on online payments for all customers:
If you'd only like to turn on online payments for a specific customer, you can follow the steps below:
After that, you're now ready to send an online invoice to your customers. You can check this link (under Step 3: Send an online invoice) for the steps: Send online invoices in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you still have other questions or clarifications about online payments. I'll be here to answer them. Have a great weekend!
Are you using QB Desktop or QB Online?
Hello,
I am using desktop
If you are using QBD 2022, they provide the bill payment feature powered by Melio. One said, they are developing a free connector to support QBD 2019-2021 at the end of Q1/2022.

For the time being, consider having one of these billing management app to integrate with your QBD.

I think we are going to move towards melio. It looks like this is a totally free service through QBD2022 and we can save some money through our bank.
If you are running a B2B company, you may also utilize their service to integrate with QBD to accept payments for free.
