Join nowHas anyone had any success in getting Intuit to upgrade your POS to 19.0 Pro at no cost? I feel as a ten year customer of Merchant Services and having spent over $140K in fees, that Intuit would go out of their way to retain me as a Merchant Services customer, instead of extorting me to pay $700 to upgrade software that works perfectly fine otherwise. I have spent a significant amount of time on the phone with them, each time receiving a promise that someone higher up would get back to me, but alas, they never call. I'm interested if anyone else feels as I do?
Good day, Eddysguns!
I understand that you need to upgrade at lower to no cost. I'm here to explain the reason for these fees.
Intuit wants to make sure to deliver innovative products and services. With these subscriptions and fees, Intuit will be able to sustain the needs of your business and continued support.
Also, let me share some details about our QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 19.0 Migration Policy. You are eligible to receive the same amount of licenses and users in QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 19.0 at no charge if you purchased version 18.0 between 06/02/2020 and 08/02/2020. However, the last day to upgrade was last January 31st of this year.
Since you already raised this concern to our Support Team, I suggest you contact them again to see if there's an update about it.
I have some links you can check. These will show you what are the improvements and the system requirements of version 19.0:

You just regurgitated everything every other intuit representative has said.
