why was my account cancelled?

Let me provide you some information about your canceled QuickBooks account. 

There are two possible reasons why your account is canceled. These are the following.

• Other users process a cancelation without your permission.
• The account is suspended due to Intuit couldn't process a payment. 

I'd suggest running the Audit Log if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the Audit trail if QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). 

Here's how for QBO: 

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
2. Choose Audit Log under Tools. 
3. Filter the report to All users, exact date, and Show all events. 
4. Tap Apply. 
5. Examine the report. 

For QBDT: 

1. Click Reports at the top, then choose Account & Taxes.
2. Select Audit Trail. 
3. Hit Customize button and apply the necessary filter. 
4. Review the description.

If there is, please communicate with that user. 

If the account is suspended, you can only use QuickBooks in view-only access mode, the same with a canceled account.
