Buy now & saveWhen entering a single day transaction, it used to remember the previous day you said you said you were entering for. So if you are entering an entry for today for someone for yesterday, it defaults to the current day & you have to change the day each time you make an entry. Also, we had it set to enter start/ stop times before - now you have to hit the set clock in /out every single entry you make in order to do so.
How can these things be adjusted?
Thanks!
I appreciate your effort in sharing the details of your experience, Lisa. We can adjust this by reverting to the old experience. I'll be glad to walk you through the process.
First off, please know that QuickBooks Online (QBO) has rolled out a new experience for entering single-time activities, introducing a feature that requires users to click Clock In and Clock Out for each entry they make.
If you'd like to use the old interface, where you don't have to set a clock in and out every single entry, we can use the old feature:
Note that once you switch back to the old experience, you will not be able to return to the new interface.
However, if you can't see the Use previous experience option, consider submitting a feature request to our Product Development team. This will alert them that there are still users interested in reverting to the old experience for entering single-day activities for employees.
Here's how:

I can see that I can switch back to the previous experience, however, if the plan is to replace the previous experience with the new one, I was wanting to know how to fix those issues. Does the new experience have a way to adjust the settings/ etc to do remember the same info as the previous? Thanks!
Hello, Lisa. The new experience retains and remembers the previous date and the setting of the Set clock in and out of the last Single day entry setting. This is most likely a cache issue happening on your end. Let me guide you in troubleshooting this.
Upon replicating, the new experience remembers the same date, employee/vendor, and Set clock in and out toggle information as the previous Single day entry. But since this is not the case for you, let's check if this is a cache buildup.
First, let's open your account in a private or incognito window. You can refer to these shortcut keys:
After accessing your account and the issue is resolved, clear your regular browser's cache to refresh your connection and browsing history. Keep in mind to exclude the cookies. If the issue persists, try using a different supported browser, as your current browser may have a temporary compatibility issue with QuickBooks.
