change my account email to an existing account email

Hi!
I have 6 compagnies, 5 under this email: [email address removed] and 1 under this one [email address removed]

I would like to have them all under the [email address removed]

I cannot change it in the user ID, Email as it says the email is already used.

Could you please make that change?

Thanks

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @Pattipat71.

You should be able to change your account's email address in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To check if this is a browser-related (cache and cookies) issue, try signing into your QBO using a private browser (incognito). There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, try to change it again to double-check. If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

If you're using the Accountant version of QBO, the error that you're getting can happen if you're adding a team member to your firm, but there's an existing user profile tied to that email address.

There are a few ways to fix this. Check out this article for the detailed steps on how: Fix error "Something's not quite right. Email address already in use." in QuickBooks Online Accounta....

Please let me know if you have any other concerns by leaving a comment in this thread. I'll be here to help. Have a great day!

Glad you came here,  Pattipat71.

You can use one email address with another subscription in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To do that, just enter the same email address when signing up for a new company. It will give you a prompt saying "This user ID is already taken", then just click Sign in.

Otherwise, you can scroll down to the bottom part and click Sign in after the question "Adding a company to an existing account". Below is a sample screenshot for your reference:

You can visit this link to find the different types of subscriptions offered in QuickBooks Online (QBO): https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.

Once you're subscribed to all of the companies, you'll have the option to switch them in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you can also review each subscription level of QBO and associated costs to guide you in finding the best version of QuickBooks that fits your business needs.

Should you need more help in matching transactions in QuickBooks Online, please let me know.

change my account email to an existing account email

Hi! I really don't need another subscription. I have already 5 compagnies under one email and another compagny under another email. How I can combine the two to become one, so that I have the 6 compagnies together. Thanks in advance.

I'll help you access your company files in one email, Pattipat71.

To start, let's call the email address you’d like to use for all your companies as email A. The email you'll no longer want to use is email B.

Here's the complete process:

  1. Sign in to one of your QuickBooks Online companies that you access with email B.
  2. Invite email A to the company.
  3. Once you invite email A, select a user type. Choose Company Admin if you want email A to be able to manage other users and company info.
  4. Go to email A's inbox and click the invite link. Email A can now access the company.

Please note that only an admin user can send an invite.

In case you'll want to make email A as the master admin, please scroll down to Step 2 in this article for the detailed steps: Sign in to Multiple QuickBooks Online Companies with One User ID.

You can also add more companies in the future using an existing user ID. I suggest checking this article for more details: Create Another Company File.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help how to easily change a company file you want to work on: How do I Switch Companies?.

I encourage tagging me in the comment section if you have any other concerns or questions about managing your account. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

change my account email to an existing account email

Hi! Thank you for the answer it has worked and now I can see all my companies with Email A.

Now I have a SaaSant App on Email B (the one who should be no longer in existence) and I want to use it for my companies in Email A. I have tried to invit, in reverse, Email A to Email B and this is what it gave me (see in the attached file). As SaaSaant is an intuit account, how can I have it also on Email A, so that I have them all in one intuit account Email, namely Quick Books and SaaSaant App?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello there, Pattipat7. Thanks for getting back to us.

It's nice to hear that you're able to view all your companies with the same email.

Let me route you to the right support, who can help you change the email address you used for the SaaSant App. That way, you can have the same email address you used in QuickBooks and the SaaSaant app. Go to this link: https://support.saasant.com/support/home. Then, get in touch with them through chat.

Please let me know how it goes. I'm always around if you have other questions. Take care always and have a good one!
