Buy nowWhen trying to update bundles (Name and Qty), I receive a message that says:
Something's not quite right
Do you also want to update memorized sales transactions to use the new rules?
but there is no place to answer yes so it cannot be updated.
Am I missing something?
Good Afternoon, @ErikaNSKS.
I'm here to help you eliminate the error message that you're receiving when updating the name and quantity of your bundle. Sometimes in QuickBooks Online, you'll receive an error message caused by stored data within your browser. You can easily clear the browsing data to remove the message within the bundle. Here's how to in the Google Chrome browser:
Afterward, log back into QuickBooks and try to update the information again.
Let me know if this does the trick. Have a wonderful day!
Originally my reply said Thank you! I managed to get one changed. But when I went to do another, I had the same problem. As annoying as it was going to be, I was prepared to clear the History after each change. But even after clearing the History again, I have the same problem.
Originally my answer was Thank You! It did work for one but when I went to do another, I had the same issue. As annoying as it was going to be, I was prepared to clear the History after each change. But after clearing the History again, I was not able to make any changes. Please advise.

I am having the same issue, tried clearing history on multiple browsers. And reading through the thread I never saw an answer to the initial question: Should there be a Yes/No button present with this error message?

Hi vman327,
There's isn't a Yes/No button in that prompt. I would recommend contacting our Support to check this further. They have tools to see your QuickBooks company and they can make a report about this.
If you have other questions, please let me know.
The error message should reference Recurring Transactions. Deleting all Recurring Transactions that contained the bundle allowed me to edit and save the changes to the bundle. Then afterward I reactivated each Recurring Transaction. Not exactly a user friendly process but it worked.
Has this issue been resolved? I am also encountering.

MirriamM, the root issue here is that it appears that something is not being displayed on the screen which is necessary for the update to go through. Here are the steps:
1. Open an existing bundle that is also involved in memorized transactions.
2. Edit the bundle description
3. Click save
After following the steps above, you get the screen that I have included with this message. There is no "Yes" or "No" field that displays. Therefore, the only option is to click the "X" at the top right. Please advise.
Thanks for letting us know you have the same problem, jonathanSBS.
I appreciate you for following the steps shared by my colleague above. To ensure you'll get an update about the resolution, I recommend reaching out to our support team. This way, they can investigate the root cause of why there's nothing displayed on the screen.

I have the same issue, and have over 500 recurring transaction using this bundle. If I make the bundle inactive, edit the description, and reactivate the bundle will it effect my recurring transactions?
Your confusion ends here, @JaWiles1.
Allow me to fill you in on everything you need to know about inactivating or editing an item and help you from there.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you won't be able to inactivate or edit an item once it's associated with recurring transactions. I understand that you have 500 recurring transactions using the bundle item. However, you'll need to delete them if you want to edit or inactivate the bundle item. Once done, you can now recreate the recurring transactions.
Just in case you notice that one or more of your recurring transactions were not created, you can read this article to learn how to fix it: How to handle a recurring transaction that did not run.
Please let me know if you need clarification about recurring transactions. I'll be standing by for your response.
Thanks, I guess. So the answer is delete hours of work, edit the bundle, and the recreate all those transactions again. Super helpful?
I have to say answer like this push me closer to dumping Quickbooks
