When uploading a CSV file, the format only includes the Date, Description, and Amount column. That being said, you'll have to manually categorize the transactions on your banking page.

I would like to export to excel so I can have a third party who incurred the expenses to put a description in category or match and let me import back to banking and auto fill in description under Misc

Ok, first the export is to numbers, not excel. Why?

The reason that this could be happening is due to not having Excel on your computer. If you do, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team for additional assistance. Here's how:

I want to ensure you're able to export your bank transactions, cicadallc.
When exporting your bank transactions on the banking page, you'll have the export to excel icon, as shown by my colleague @ShiellaGraceA on her screenshot. To make sure we're on the same page, can you add more details about the export is to numbers, not excel that you've mentioned in your previous reply? This way, we'll have a better picture of what happened.
