Logo will not upload

Hello there, @nefoodtx.

 

I'm here to help upload a logo in QuickBooks Online (QBO) successfully.

 

One possible reason why you're not able to upload your logo is the logo requirements. Make sure you're able to meet the logo standards set by QBO.

 

Here are the following:

 

  • The logo is a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file.
  • File size is smaller than 10 MB
  • Have a bit depth ( or color depth) of 24-bits or less
  • Uses the standard RGB color space (RGB)
  • The shape of the logo is square. Rectangles don't work

To add a logo:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
  3. Click on Company tab at the left pane.
  4. You can add a logo under Company name.

If still you can't upload logo following the logo requirements, you may try uploading logo using a private browser. You may use either of the following shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL  + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press CTRL  + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If it works fine using a private browser, you may need to clear the cache of your regular web browsers. Also, switching to another supported browser can help us narrow the cause of this unexpected behavior.

As long as you've met the logo requirements mentioned by my colleague @Angelyn_T, you should be able to successfully change your company's logo.

 

If you've already tried all the steps provided, I would suggest reaching out to our Online Support so they can further assist you with uploading the logo. This way, they can also check the root cause of why you're having issues with the upload.
