And how about when a check prints wrong? No way to isolate it for re-printing.
You can still purchase QB Desktop 2024. After June 2024, I believe they will release QB Desktop 2025 Enterprise. They still need to maintain QB Desktop until we can transfer data from QBO to TurboTax directly.
Still no way to calculate early payment discounts within QBO. I wish I would have known this before converting. What an incredible waste of time in the new and "improved" QBO! Why even have the option to input payment terms? Is it possible to revert to QB Desktop?

Is it possible to revert to QB Desktop?
Yes for sure. When did you convert data from QB Desktop to QB Online? Did you still keep the last backup of your QB Desktop file?

The feed back option is pointless none of these issues have ever been addressed. We have been asking for some of them for years.
@ChristieAnn Given that this feature has been requested and re-requested by numerous people over the past 3 years why would another feature request be beneficial? This is a pretty basic item that obviously many people need. Please ask the development team to stop ignoring requests from clients and their accountants and action some of these! It seems that all their effort goes towards moving things around on our screens that these basic requests fall by the wayside...and it really irritates us. Thanks.
This is from FOUR YEARS AGO and this is still NOT an option in QBO. WHY?

Start looking for another platform. I have waited years for a number of things and have seen little if zero changes. "Updates" usually only involve layout changes which can make Monday mornings super fun trying to figure out where everything is.
Same for me...I just switched from the desktop to online and I am so frustrated that I am unable to have the % show in my payments... then to top it off, paying vendors online doesn't show the credit info, just short paying invoices. This is VERY confusing to the vendors trying to figure out discounts/credit taken.
I was hoping that this had been fixed since this 2020 thread... 4 years later and it's still an issue!
Dec 2024 and this is STILL not fixed. Paying vendors online, I have no option to use a discount credit or a vendor credit, I can only short pay invoices. This is very confusing to my vendors! I can only put "notes" to let them know what I am paying and what discounts I am taking. How has this feature not converted from the desktop to online version? This is ridiculous. This thread goes back to 2020 and the only option is a "work around"?

already done, but I'm guessing it's not going to change anything since this thread goes back years with the same issue.
all the answers you are getting from QBO are AI generated answers and not a real person. No one in the company cares about the issues we as customer have, they just want to keep raising your monthly subscription fees, try selling you other products to generate more revenue, etc.
I have received all of the same responses you have for more than four years and not a thing has changed to help any issue reported. But with every automatic update you will find the way you did things the day before is no longer the same and you spend more time adjusting to their new crap than you spend on running your own company.
This is by far the WORST SOFTWARE EVER WITH THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Everything I said in 2020 still stands and it was happening long before that. But they deleted my reports and I had to start a new thread. I guess they didn't like the negative evaluation of their high priced inadequate software and personnel. (developers included)

Stop telling people to report the issues and that you are here to help. Quickbooks fully ignores their customers and only cares about their bottom line. While the customers bottom line is being destroyed wasting time doing tasks with work arounds instead of basic accounting functions.
Stop lying to people, it's a disgrace that you give them hope that their issues are being heard and worse yet that they are being addressed.
Open to all suggestions for another platform here. Quickbooks will not change nor help you. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
