The bank balance automatically appears next to the account when you create a check and choose a bank account to link it to. If that's the balance you'd prefer to hide, that option is unavailable right now.
On the other hand, if you're printing checks, there's no reason for you to hide it. Viewing the preview and print sample will allow you to verify it. This is how:
Lastly, if it's the bank balance column of the account where the check is deducted that you want to remove, you can uncheck the Bank Balance from the settings icon. Here's how:
Go back to the main register page and you should now see the bank balance hidden.

I appreciate the info. We really do need to hide this on the online entry of checks. We have a staff member we need to do it, but that person shouldn't see how much we have in our accounts.
Thanks for the info! In my case, I do need this to be a feature for a staff member that enters the check details online, since that is one of their duties, but we don't want to disclose banking balances to that person.
