Greetings, @robert50.
QuickBooks automatically changes the prices of items on sales forms according to rules you create. Each price rule can contain multiple conditions that have to be met before QuickBooks changes the sales price.

We know that having this feature will greatly save your time. Although, the option to automatically apply price rules for subitems isn't available in QuickBooks. I can reach out to our developers so they can check and review this feature. This way, they can gather data from customers like you on what area of the product they should focus on.

I know how to do set up price rules I believe.
Example:
I have an item called hose. That is the parent. I have hundreds of items as subitems of that. I want the parent price rules to apply to ALL subitems. And I want the price rules to apply automatically when I add an item as a subitem . I do not want to have to go into price rules and add new parts manually.
I know how to set up price rules I believe.
Example follows to elaborate on my question.
I have an item called hose ends. That is the parent item. I have hundreds of subitems of "hose ends". I want the price rules to apply to any item I add as a subitem of "hose ends" automatically when I add them. I do not want to add the part and then have to go into lists and add the individual item to the part rule. There should be an option to apply part rules to all items in that parent class when that part [subitem] is loaded into QB.
